Chop Suey
Ingredients
- lean ground meat of your choice (1 lb.)
- salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
- medium yellow onion, sliced (1)
- celery stalk, sliced (1)
- small broccoli florets (1 cup)
- red bell pepper, sliced (1/2)
- green onions, cut into 1/2" chunks (2)
- soy sauce (3 tablespoons)
- toasted sesame oil (2 tablespoons)
- bean sprouts (6 cups)
Instructions
- Heat oil in large wok (or sauté pan) over high heat. Add meat, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, 7-8 minutes.
- Add onion, celery, and mushrooms. Cook 3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and green onions. Sauté 30 seconds.
- Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Add bean sprouts and cook 30 seconds more. Serve immediately
