Creamy Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients

  • Brussels sprouts, halved (1 lb.)
  • slices bacon, chopped (4)
  • cloves garlic, minced (2)
  • heavy cream (1 cup)
  • grated Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup)
  • shredded mozzarella cheese (1/2 cup)
  • olive oil (1 tablespoon)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

Cook the Bacon

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan

Sauté the Brussels Sprouts

  1. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the skillet.
  2. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sprouts are golden brown and tender.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Make the Creamy Sauce

  1. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet with the Brussels sprouts and garlic.
  2. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the cream thickens slightly.
  3. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.

Combine and Serve

  1. Add the crispy turkey bacon back to the skillet and stir to combine.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
