Marcella Hazan Pasta Sauce
- 28-ounce / 828 mL can of whole, peeled tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 5 tbs butter
- Put everything together in a single pot.
- Simmer over medium heat on the stove for 45 minutes uncovered.
- Stir occasionally.
- After 45 minutes, toss out onion halves.
- Pour sauce over your favorite pasta.
