One-Pan Ground Beef and Potato Skillet

Ingredients

  • ground beef (1 lb.)
  • small potatoes (or as many as you prefer), diced (12)
  • cream soup (any type you like) (1 can)
  • milk (3/4 cup)
  • Your choice of seasoning (e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.) (to taste)
  • Shredded cheese (for topping) (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it is fully browned, breaking it into small crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if needed.
  2. Once the beef is browned, add the diced potatoes to the skillet. Stir occasionally and cook for about 10–15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Adjust the cooking time depending on the size of the potato pieces.
  3. When the potatoes are cooked through, add the cream soup and milk (or your water and sour cream mixture) to the skillet. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Season the mixture with your preferred spices (e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.), adjusting to taste. Stir thoroughly to distribute the flavors evenly.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the dish. Cover the skillet and allow the cheese to melt for a few minutes.
